Let's get this thing started

Why wait until I get a shiny template up and start advertising this blog to start posting? When it's ready to go and people start reading this thing there will actually be some content! So... let's get this show started!

...It's too humid to function or write anything useful today. So for my own selfish benefit, here is a list of things for me to do:

1) Finish the Quotables makeover. It's mostly behind the scenes changes that most people won't notice, besides the navigation updates. Here is a link to the alpha and for the beta. Aiee! I hope to finish this tonight. Updating will be a breeze now.

2) Finish the makeover of JustinBEvans.com. It'll be shiny and contain this blog when it's all said and done.

3) Finish unpacking and organizing my study/computer room/studio.

4) Proceed with Rain Thief work.

There's a ton more to do but that's what is on the front burner this week. Eventually I'll organize my bookshelves, buy a kitchen table, finish moving stuff from my mom's house, etc...

What's the Deal?

So what's the point of this blog? Well... While it'll still be another couple weeks before I'm able to really contribute and make this blog into something worth visiting. But to answer my original question, what will this blog be about? There are a couple of major subjects I would like to cover...

1) Art. The major subject of this blog will be my art. Not just drawing, but photography and whatever else I feel like posting.

2) Thoughts! Believe it or not I do think and like to share various thoughts! So expect random ranting. I see a lot of movies so expect a lot of movie reviews and the like.

3) Personal stuff. What would a personal blog be without random personal and rant-y stuff? One major topic I plan to compile via the occasional blog post is the subject of my weight. I'm a big boy... but I'm trying to change that! I figure if I put myself out there publicly and risk humiliation I'll be able to stick to certain plans a bit better, yes? So support me! Right now I am 224lbs and I want to reach 200lbs by August 4th (My 24th birthday). Will I do it? Maybe others will be able to learn from my chronicles. Who knows.

So that's that. Three major topics. I'm sure plenty of deviations will occur during this blogs tenure, but that's what I plan to focus on. Wish me luck!

So I've decided to revive IMP and start blogging it up.
Don't expect much this week while I design a new template for JustinBEvans.com and transfer this to that and do stuff.

Boy I'm tired.
